Day 99 - Angela
For the last 8 months I’ve been working from home. If you’ve been on a Zoom call with me during that time you’ve likely met my cat, experienced my wifi cut out, and seen this beautiful painting by Angela Reimer behind me as this wall has become my default Zoom background. Despite what many folks seem to think no, it’s not a portrait of me, though I’ve often been caught posing just like that on calls! I’m not advanced enough to have any idea of how to create portraits like this generatively but, for today’s sketch, I wanted to play around with the colours, lines and strokes found in Angela’s wonderful piece.
